1. Track and Field

FINALLY,

FINALLY,

IT'S OVER!!! :D


I think everyone from 22/07 and 10/07 must be super relieved when everything finally ended last evening.

Although there were some hiccups (4 x 100m student-teacher race being cancelled), everything went relatively smoothly. :)


Ehh... and in case some people were wondering what my duty was last evening, it was...



Yup. So, the 'lucky' bunch of us (curry-pok, wenshi, ruzi and I) got to sit in a tent and since we were in the netball court, we couldn't watch ANY SINGLE race. T_T

During the briefing,


Lejun: So the CS cannot leave their area.
Ruzi, Wenshi, Clarrisa, Jas: EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~~~~~~~~~~ T_T
Lejun: ahahaha you all like that I also can't do anything. ^_^;;


So, throughout the entire event, Wenshi and I were taking their attendance and repeating the same few lines to them over and over again.

"What's your event?"
"Is everyone here already?"
"Please stay at this side of the court and do not leave the area."


And poor poor Ruzi and Currypok had to keep running to the emcee stand to announce for ppl who were missing to report to the CS. Oh, and they had to bring them to the starters (Kakei and Eugene).

It was pretty chaotic at the beginning, but after that, things started to run more smoothly.


Oh, and it was the first time in my life using a loud haler.

Anyway, last evening was bloody warm. (It was like what... 35 degree celsius?!)
And I seriously thought I would get a heat stroke soon.

Well, what's worse was what happened AFTER the event, when we had to clear the place up.

We had to move what... 7897800028540000 chairs back to the 2nd floor?!

Damn.

And Rebecca, Wenshi, Weihong, Wenyu and I were stuck in the bloody store room stacking the bloody chairs.

I swear there were hundreds of them.

And I think all of were perspiring like there's no tml PLUS we all suffered many injuries. (getting our fingers stuck underneath the chairs)


By the time I got out, my shirt was nearly all wet. =___=

But overall, it was still a success. :D

And many thanks to Peiyun and Wenshi for bringing us Milo ^_^, Singhun for bringing us the beehoon and currypok! :D and many many people for helping us carry the chairs when they saw how Wenshi and I were struggling to carry them. (XD)


Oh and at the end of everything, Ms Dawn Tan and Mr Alex Lee thanked both classes. :)

Mr Alex Lee: and for the field events, it was a success as well, though those who helped out received many scoldings from me... I hope you all don't mind...

2. PRE and POST-track and field events


Before the track and field meet, many of us were in the library and we sat in a circle at the corner and crapped. XD
Then, all of a sudden, we all started taking photos like crazy. haha.

Anyway, POST track and field meet,
Rebecca, Siewping, Joyce, Wenshi, Currypok, Ruzi and I went for dinner together! :D

we crapped, laughed, gossiped etc etc.

Then we walked around AMK, studied what the moles on your face's supposed to mean.
For Ruzi, it was 'the possibility of committing a crime' XD and for me, it was '烂桃花' which means the tendency to attract unwanted love interests (-___-). And for Rebecca, it was '克夫’ which means bringing bad luck to husband.

3. BEN and JERRY'S free ice cream!!!

I think almost everyone will know about this event, right? ^_^

We were all really excited when we finally got our ice-cream,

haha. So many things have happened in just a mere 12 days.
And I'm LAZY to give a very detailed illustration of my life in these 12 days.

So here it goes~

1. New Year Eve ---> Had breakfast at LJS with Yeeyan, Serene, Joyce and Angela.

oh, and I was watching KOUHAKU UTA GASSEN/ 紅白歌合戦 '07 on tv channel 43.
Was really touched by Ayu's performance of 'Together When...'.
Oh, and there was Morning Musume, BoA, WaT, W-inds, TOKIO, SMAP, Nakashima Mika (I LOVE HER SONG!), Kobukuro (LOVE THAT SONG), Angela Aki, Ayaka, Mihimaru GT, EXILE, GACKT (his performance was WOAH~~) etc etc.


2. NEW YEAR ---> Strangely enough, I have no recollection of what I did on that day. =/ Rushing homework, perhaps? hahaha.



3. SCHOOL REOPENS!!!!

- Timetable's quite sick actually. For example, we can have a 30mins break followed by hours and hours of tutorials and lectures. I mean, look at the queue in the canteen!

- Teachers- Only 2 of our teachers were changed. Ms Goh took over our class for Physics and Ms Tay took over our class for GP.
Ms Goh was our Phy tutor during the 1st three months last year (during the 1st intake) so I was pretty used to her teaching style.

Shall not comment too much (AJCians, refer to Ms Leong's speech last thurs. XD)


- CLASS - Nothing much changed. :) That can be a good thing, actually. Oh, except that PEIYUN permed her hair. HAHA. Her hair used to be very long, straight and silky. Then she permed it when she went back to Taiwan. It's REALLY PRETTY! :D

1st day of sch...

But I decided it's really pretty. ^_^

Oh. And Clarrisa rebonded her hair (again). And Junxiu's wearing contacts now. :)


We're starting to mingle together. Maybe not everytime, but at least that's a start. ;)


- TUTORIALS: Pretty much about the same. Except that we're in Block 2 all the time.

- PE: URGH. We've been running 6 rounds, 8 rounds etc etc. And I feel like dying probably during the 2nd round. T_T My stamina is really... @#$($%*&#$%*#$&%.

- LECTURES: Same as always. Except that we've got banding for GP lectures. So I ended up in Bridge 2 with Kah Ying, Rina, Wenyu, Rachel and Eugene. Oh. and econs lecture is held in LT4 instead of Audi. =/

- Physics Mini Project: HAHAHAHAHAHA! My group members are Samantha, Siewping and Kakei. We decided to do a proj on static charges. And it was hilarious. XD


Jas: *explaining the steps* Now, can we have a volunteer please?
SP: A volunteer with hair.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Well, if you don't get it, we need to rub the styrofoam tray against someone's hair. XD

And Chengcheng volunteered in the end. :D

Oh, and I loved Chengcheng's group's experiment. The one with the egg. haha.





- OUTSIDE SCHOOL:

Thurs: Went to LOT ONE with Huili, Ruzi and Wenshi. I wanted to look for a new bottle. (left my old bottle in chem lab and I couldn't find it when I went back. T^T)

And THAT Huili and Wenshi insisted I treat them to something. #$%$#%*(&@#$@!!!!!

So in the end Ruzi and I treated them to whipped potato. -__- THOSE 2 PIGS.


Fri:

Had lunch with Siew Boon, Rebecca, Junxiu, Kah Ying, Clarrisa, Wenshi, Ruzi, Sing hun and Ruzi's friend, Soolin. Initially Venetta, Cheryl and Rachel were with us but cos we might not be able to find a place to accommodate all of us so they decided to eat at SUMO while the rest of us went to AMK hub.

After that, Wenshi and I walked around AMK hub to search for Currypok's present.
And that girl insisted we go to JP instead. JURONG POINT! That's like, an hour journey from AMK!

But we still went in the end. T^T

And I finally got my bottle. :D

And Wenshi finally managed to borrow 50748 books from the library. -___-
We wasted 888452684 hours AND 80% of my energy finding/walking to the library.

Couples always seem very blissful,
but you'd never know what they truly feel.



1. I was suffering from insomnia last night.
And I bet it's cos I drank nearly 10 cups of Chinese tea at last night's wedding dinner. -___-

So I was up all night reading a novel and feeling miserable.

And this morning I feel like a zombie. X_X



2. Wedding dinner last night was awesome. ^_^

It was at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, a 5-star hotel, if I'm not wrong.

Women came in all sorts of dresses and hairstyles.
Some even had their hair styled professionally.

To think I thought I overdressed for the dinner. -__-

My cousins, Merissa, Alison, Sheryl, were dressed to kill. haha.
They look absolutely gorgeous. =)

On the other hand, my sister wore PANTS and a sophisticated shirt + striped tie.
She looked DAMN COOL and a little gothic.
(Think NANA. hahaha.)

So, ahem, I think I was the invisible one. ^_^;;


ANYWAY, the food's おいしい！！！[oishii] ^_^
And the portion's just right, so you wont feel like the zipper of your dress' gonna burst.

My favourite dish is the COLD PLATE and the FISH and the DESSERT.

The dessert was mango pudding drowned in raspberry sauce and with bits of fruits on it.
DAMN. it was great. =)

took many group photos with the cousins. haha.


Oh, and my nephew gave the girls ROSES! haha.
I received a white rose and it was soooo sweet. =)


The only bad thing that night was the cab fee. -__-

4. Wedding dinners always make me think a lot.

Oh no, don't get me wrong. I'm not thinking of getting married. ^_^;;

It makes me wonder what the couple really feels about the marriage.


I always envy married couples.
What made them so sure that their wife/husband is really the one for them?
What made them so willing to take the risk and get married?

Marriage is a big thing.
It's not something that's short term.
It's not a game.


Even if it is, it's a game that you cannot lose.


Well, people might then retort and say that they can always divorce...
but, what's the point of getting married just to be prepared to divorce?


If marriage were like an escape game, it is one without a walkthrough.


haha. oh boy, why am I so negative about EVERYTHING?!?!?!?!?!?!


But, I still envy couples.


I hope that all couples out there will never let go of each other's hand. =)




5. Christmas!!! haha. I always get really excited about it, even though I've got no party or whatsoever.
I always like to do something special for the occasion. =)

This time, I've decided to put my culinary skills (IF ANY) to good use.
and poison my family. HAHAHA.


Christmas wishlist (uh-uh. I'm totally not materialistic XD) :

1. A BLOODY NEW PHONE.

2. Ayu's new album 'Guilty'

3. New TV


I have a certain patience level towards the electric appliances at home.

For eg: my TV, which TURNS OFF BY ITSELF.
I swear, I was so freaked out I nearly choked on whatever I was eating.


Well, this is my actual christmas wishlist:

1. My family to be happy and healthy

2. My friends to be happy and healthy

3. Life to be better for all of us.



I seriously doubt Point no. 3.

1. Anyway, this book 'Rite of Spring' is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.

It made me think so much, I think I'm going a little nuts.

I went cycling this morning. YES.

It was really sudden. haha. but I loved it. Especially when I cycled along the longkang. HAHA. The breeze. The cool air. I was really enjoying the serenity of the morning. =)

4. Yesterday was Farewell Assembly, OP lecture and AJ Openhouse.

Farewell Assembly was great. :)
I loved the videos made by the tutors.
