At interact session last Wed, 

Kokoro-chan told me something that nearly made me cry.

"I want you to stay with me forever."

"...There'll be a time when I'll be gone"

"No. You won't be gone. No matter what, you'll always be here in my heart."

"And after you die, I hope that you would come down as an angel."

"Why...?"

"So that you can watch over me. You can be my guardian angel. ^_^"

I think we've come a long way.

To think that kokoro-chan used to be the 'most problematic' child there. 

I think she has changed a whole lot.

And has become a really really sweet and hardworking child...

And it makes me feel that, my efforts have really paid off... :)

And it makes me want to try harder, just like how she keeps trying... :)

 

(Fyi: When I said that I might be gone one day, I'm actually talking about stepping down my CCA.

And she thought I was referring to leaving this world. haha.) 

And...

I'll continue this entry the next time I can get hold of the com. =P

I'm lost.

At this very moment. 

Crying, laughing, I met myself.

Myself?

The most familiar stranger. 

I don't know why.

But as we walk on, we realize that we'll slowly lose our identity. 

Our perception of who we were.

What had been strong beliefs are now reduced to a pathetic state of doubt. 

What had been glorious and perfect are now nothing but dirty, flawed things. 

What had been a heart of an angel is now thoroughly polluted...

Is that what we all think?

Have we all become victims of this cruel society? 

Have we all lost something that we used to hold on so dearly to?

I want to find a flower among the trash, the heaps and heaps of rubbish, the mountains and mountains of ugly things. 

But can I really find it?

I want to believe.

Believe that in this world, there are still people who would show the world the flowers they found among the ugly things. 

People who would say,

"Everything will be alright." 

And give us a pat on the shoulder. 

Even if it's a lie,

we all want to hear that.

Ahhh... it has been ages since my last update. 

Anyway, life has been relatively kind to me during this period of time. 

(well, it could've been much worse. XD)

I'm really starting to cherish everyone around me. 

Because there's no such thing called 'eternity'. 

1. Interact

The reason why I put this point as the very first point in this entry is simply because I'm really really loving the kids as if they were my own. 

Last Wed's interactive session was a HUGE success! :D

And everyone behaved so much better than the previous week, when there was complete chaos and the kids were fighting among themselves. 

(well, fyi, the kids we tutor are those with problematic family backgrounds and have various learning difficulties) 

Sometimes, 

when I see how hard the children work, how they keep on trying, makes me really really moved...

when I listen to their horrifying stories about how their classmates bully them, look down on them, I really want to cry with them... 

when they trust us and tell us things that they don't dare to tell other people, I feel really happy... 

when they become happy after winning a game, we'll definitely smile together with them. :)

Their innocence is really 眩しい。。。 :)

And well now, a very problematic girl whom I'm teaching, (let's call her kokoro-chan) is sticking to me all the time. haha.

Like... a chick and its mother hen. O_O (not a good description, I suppose?)

But you get what I mean. ;) 

And I'll start to think.

Am I helping them or are they helping me?

Giving me a meaning in living. 

Giving me a sense of self-worth.

Making me feel useful... 

Acknowledging my presence...

No matter how tough school seems to be, once you see the kids, all your worries will vapourize. :)

2. Chinese 'FICTION' novels

Wenshi and I are getting really really obsessed with 'FICTION' series books. XD

The stories are really really good. 

Heartaches, innocent puppy love etc etc...

Try reading them when you're free. ;)

4. Junction 8 with Wenshi

Went to Bishan library with Wenshi yesterday.

The only thing that will make that crazy girl's eyes light up (besides 飞机头) is a NOVEL. 

=____=

Anyway, after that we walked around Junction 8 and ended up at MOS for a drink.

Vanilla milkshake and coffee milkshake. 

haha. we had so much difficulty sucking the milkshake (which seems more like ICE BLENDED to me. -.-) 

Ohoh, and we stopped by Action City.

This strange guy who looks like a Japanese *winks at Wenshi* came up to us and tricked us to touch that bloody thing which is something that gives you electric shocks. 

...

Seriously, what's up with the people these days?! creating such scary things. 

And we got tricked twice. =___= And our hands became numb after that. 

Then he tried to trick us to put that massager thing on our heads but we were protesting already. Lol. 

We went to popular afterwards and guess what, we spent hours inside staring at the PC games that seem really really nice! 

Ahhh... after A's, that's where I'm heading the next time I step into Popular. XD

5. Lessons

Nothing much. 

Except that Mr Kitty (LOL) is our lecturer now. 

Oh, and Wednesday was Mr Looh's last day. :(

Although it was a short period of time, I still think that I benefitted a lot from him. :)

And lessons was fun because of his wicked sense of humor. XD

And Ms Soh is coming back next Monday! :) 

Thursday's PE lesson was crazy.

We played this 'slapping game' and both my legs turned red after Ruzi and Wenshi slapped them. 

The girls all laughed when they saw my face. 

IT WAS BLOODY PAINFUL!!

6. CHOCOLATES!

I'm falling head over heels for chocolates that contain coffee beans. :D 

Mum: I bought this chocolate and it's disgusting.

Mum: There are coffee beans inside and it's really bitter. >.<

Jas: EHH?!?!?! I like! The bitter, the better. XD

Mum: ................................... O.O?!?!?!?!?!?!?! are you really my daughter?!

7. Friends

It takes a lot of courage just to say 'hi'.

So true, isn't it?

Even after taking the same train, waiting at the same door with the same person almost everyday for nearly a year, all we do is stare at each other/pretend the other person doesn't exist...

haha. I wonder when we'll have to courage to acknowledge each other's presence? 

8. TRJ~*

During Civics, Lionel, our school counsellor, came in to talk to us. :)

A really friendly guy. 

And we had to talk about stress. 

"I'm Jasmine. I talk to people when I'm stressed."

I thought I'm well-known for my ability to keep everything to myself. 

haha. I should've said 'blog'. 

Honestly speaking, the only place where I pour out my overwhelming emotions is probably here, at TRJ. 

Though I can't be too direct.

I can't say everything I want to say,

it's enough. 

9. そら [sora] (sky)

Every morning, when I look up into the sky, it looks different. 

From different angles,

from different altitudes,

from different places.

I want to capture all the different views of the sky.

Even if people find me crazy, taking pictures of the sky on the train, I'm not going to give up just like that.

10. Eternity

This thing called 'eternity'.

It doesn't exist at all, does it?

So all the more we should enjoy everything we can enjoy now.

Anyway, I got an 'A' for Project Work. :)

(everyone was scammed yesterday when we saw our results before 10.35am =___=)


Finally, E-learning is over. But all thanks to my printer (which is without colour ink), I can't print out my econs game summary. So I've decided to forget about doing it all together. XD

As for the Chem... =___= there's absolutely nothing but sound so yeah.


Overall, I really really enjoyed the GP one. :D
On the Stanford prison experiment.
And in case you guys are curious, I'll post up some videos on it next time. :)

My mood has pretty much been in the drain these days.
So it's no wonder 'Mirrorcle World' fits my mood completely.




1. TRACK AND FIELD (FIELD EVENTS) MEET on April 5th

Well, no one has EVER made me so infuriated in my entire life. (if you know my temper well enough)


I could've killed him right on the spot.


And I bet I would receive much encouragement from my friends. -___-


You insulted us (the i/cs), insulted our class, insulted MY SCHOOL, made us do RIDICULOUS things(that are unnecessary), pissed off almost everyone who was there to help out...

URGH!


But,

The past is remembrance. The only time which truly exists is the present.


SO FINE. I'll let the matter drop.



Anyway, Track and Field Meet (Field Events) was successfully held. :)

FINALLY, half of the event has completed. (and I can relax a little now. ^_^)

(Junxiu being lame. HAHAHA)

And I agree wholeheartedly.

2. I & E DAY!!!

Woohoo~

It was absolutely enjoyable! :D

And it's one of the rare times when I see 22/07 getting really bonded.


I bet it was because of the Chinese game station that we went to.

We had to connect Chinese idioms (cheng yu) together using the last word of the previous idiom. And it was really really fun. haha.


And ...

The entire whiteboard got covered with Chinese words! haha.

And the teacher just kept praising us. ^_^

I'm amazed at how good we are at Chinese. And how we can still remember how to write Chinese words after not taking Chinese for... 1 year plus? (since we're one of the few classes in AJ which doesn't take H2 Chinese (cos all of us took HMT in sec sch))

And the result...

Exceeded expectations, I suppose. XD

But in the end, we heard that another class did even better than that.

BUT!

Everyone still enjoyed themselves and cheered for the class in the end. :D



oh, and in case you were wondering how the classroom looked like...

that's the ceiling, yeah. :D

Besides the Chinese station, for the Geog station, we played GOOGLE EARTH. :D

And for PE station, we had a one-legged game against 21/07.
Plus, our whole class played Pepsi-Cola together! XD (the theme was traditional games)

As for Physics station, we were given a task to make a screw spin (think Fleming's Left Hand Rule) Pretty cool, I guess. (Except the fact that Clarrisa, Peiyun and I kept getting burnt by the wire. =__=)

And finally, the GP station. We had to pretend to be reporters and report on some riots.
In the end, our group came up with the idea of inflation and pork sellers going on riots. HAHAHA. Well, I was thinking of my speech impromptu, so it wasn't making much sense. XD

"Welcome to CNN 11.59pm news..."

Oh my. XD


Well, the most entertaining group of all would be Kakei's group.
They did on Mas Selamat and Kakei was ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!! :D
And they won. :)


Oh, and not forgetting the MASS session where we had to watch 3 videos.

2. Some really artistic French film on the concept of time
3. Comedy

I think I'm weird.

Because I kind of enjoyed the second film whereas everyone else was complaining about how CHIM, how BORING it was. XD

And as for the comedy, it got a little boring towards the end, when things became repetitive.

But overall, I really really enjoyed myself at I & E DAY. :D:D

The videos are seriously lagging behind the voice-over and it keeps hanging.

So I took nearly 4 hours just to do Physics.

hmm... and it becomes really difficult to keep to our schedule after that.


Maybe that's why it's hanging again!

These days I'm getting really obsessed with Chinese romance novels.
Some of them are just really sweet. :)



And no, I'm not hinting anything.
haha. I'm fine right now, being single, and watchful over TXN and gang. XD
(And I'm starting to believe that TXN is noticing us (esp Ruzi? XD) already. Shit. =X)

I'm seriously tired.



Tired of crying.

Tired of trying.

Tired of telling myself everything's going to be alright.

Tired of practically everything around me.




Today is one of the most emotional days in my life.



I tried so hard to tell myself not to cry, but I failed.


And I broke down right there.



And to think that I actually consoled Sing Hun this morning when she cried.
And I consoled Ruzi and Rina yesterday when they cried.



Wenshi and Peiyun also cried with me today.



I bet all of you are wondering what's wrong with us.




Maybe you should think about it.


Are we really crying over trivial matters?
Or have we been wanting to cry since ages ago?



I always thought I could control the emotions I display (though I'm helpless when it comes to controlling emotions within me)

But I was wrong.



It's strange to think that this matter could trigger such a huge surge of emotions.
To the point that I couldn't stop the tears from flowing.

It felt like I was stripped bare of everything I had at that moment.


And it's definitely NOT because of just the incident alone.



Then afterwards, when all my friends gathered around me and consoled me, the tears just couldn't stop.
I was really touched.


All the girls from 22/07...

Especially Ruzi and Clarrisa for treating us to 'Hello Panda' afterwards (LOL. even though you guys are SUPER STINGY at times)

Singhun, for trying to cheer me up despite your own worries.
