It's the 8x50m relay race.

2. Today's I&E day at AJ.

haha. I really enjoyed myself today.
I never knew school can be so much fun. ^_^

Maybe school is fun (minus away all the hw, tests, exams etc etc etc).

I love the PE game that we had.
It's hilarious.
I was practically laughing my head off when Eugene swatted at the ball and the center part of the stand flew out.

Oh yes. GP was fun too... I like that teacher. ^^
And all the photos are so thought-provoking...

The nanotech lecture was absolutely great.
Learnt a lot more about it.
And that professor is good at teaching. ^^


But most importantly, me and my friends went nuts playing silly games outside the audi.
the pig, nanny, ah yun, curry-sa, mosquito and I played many stupid games.
Cai Quan is still the hot favourite. ^^ and Heart Attack is crazy. haha.
Rina joined in for Cai Quan. haha. she's pretty good at it leh. (feel so lousy. haha.)


I start to understand how I felt in the past, about feeling really good about being in a class. with all 25 people. :)

12. Whenever the train goes past Khatib and heading towards YCK, there'll be this huge reservoir or something.


I always look forward to seeing it.
Cos there're always different reflections on it.

Sometimes, when the day just broke, the water and sky are both pink, orange, yellow, like a rainbow.
Sometimes, the water and sky are just blue with many clouds.


I'll always turn to Darrel and tell him about how pretty the scene is.
He'll just nod, smile and occasional silly remarks.


It's awesome.

Just looking at the water, you feel... alive.
You feel that life's beautiful.
You feel that beautiful things are always there, just that we don't even bother to take a look.


It's hits me, exactly at the spot in my heart which is always the source of negative emotions.
It tells me, "Everything is beautiful."

there's a story behind this song. it's about a girl who suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Xeroderma pigmentosum. This disorder makes it impossible for the girl to be exposed to sunlight and thus she only goes out at night. In the nights, she performs outside as a street musician.

So today I shall blog a really long entry. hehe.


1. I LOVE my class.

Yes. LOVE in caps. haha. 22/07 absolutely rocks my socks. ^_^
I don't know izzit because of Junxiu (Nanny)'s influence or what, but the class is getting more united.

Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but seriously, seeing everyone mingle and crap makes me really happy. How do I put it... It's like a big family kind of thing. ^_^

Kinda reminds me of those days in 3o8'05... ya.
I think you get the idea. :)



2. I'm STILL sick.

Yes. Instead of recovering from my flu/sorethroat/cough, my condition's deteriorating.
:(

And practically EVERYONE had the same convo with me for the past few days.

Person: Hey what happened to your voice? So hoarse.
Jasmine: Oh I'm having sorethroat. :(
Person: ohhh.. I was wondering why Jasmine suddenly became so ssssexxxy. XDXDXD



3. I went to get my specs changed last sat after piano lesson.

I'm desperately searching for the piano scores.
I can only figure out bits and pieces of both piano pieces that I love.

And ever since I realized that Kito Aya, the girl who's diagnosed with the disease, is born on July 19, a CANCER, it sort of changed my perspective towards life...

It's strange, but I start thinking what if it were me who contracted that disease? (since I'm born on July 16)
Will I have the strength to go on, despite of others' heartless glances?


She's a brave girl. A really really brave and selfless girl. :)




13. We're too hurried to notice beautiful things around us...




14. I was reading up on Mother Teresa (dont ask me why. lol.)
and came across this part,

It's not over yet~*

Mood: unspeakable feeling.

We have too many things to be thankful for.

I shall make this a quick entry. :)

The main thing that inspired this entry is probably the concert 'Melodies from the Heart' this morning by AWWA.

The concert was put up by a group of people with physical disabilities.

1. The first item was a group of blind people who performed 'I believe I can fly'. Some were playing the instruments (eg drums, guitar, keyboard) while others sang. All I can say is that I was really really touched.

2. Then they sang another song 'Stand up for love' (if I'm not wrong). It's another beautiful song.

3. After that, another group of people with physical disablities (wheel chair bound) performed 'Final Fantasy' and another song about friendship.

4. Then, another group used sticks to make music. It's their traditional song/dance. Two little girls came out to dance. They were really adorable.

Unfortunately, one couldn't see with her left eye while the other had no arm.

Some of the people who were singing didn't have arms as well...

5. Lastly, the finale was a song composed specially for them. It's about strength and love. Boy, was I touched. :')

For the first time in my 3+ months in AJC, the audi was booming with applause and cheers. It was awesome. Way more awesome than anything you've ever seen.

And really heartwarming too. ^^

Just a simple and short concert triggered a lot of thoughts and questions.

Like, why are we, who are born in perfect shape, complaining so much about life when they, who are not as lucky as us, are not?

Although on the outside, we might seem more 'perfect' than them, on the inside, we're can never be compared to them.

The unbelievable surge of courage and strength that they have.

The ability of the blind to say, 'I'm not afraid of the darkness.'

The ability of the handicapped to say, 'I'm not giving up because I can still appreciate the scenery from where I'm sitting.'

The ability of the deaf-mute to say, 'Even if I can't hear anything, my spirit is not daunted. I will still continue to shine. I can make it in the end.'

To me, even if we're not born perfect, we still have an amazing strength hidden deep within us which keeps us living.

So what if we're scarred, constantly falling down, breaking down, shattering under other's sharp words?

Falling down is, always, for the sake of standing up again. (music changed to 1 Litre of Tears main theme)

this morning. just this morning alone, changed my whole perspective towards life.

This is exactly the song to fit my mood now.

I really miss those days when we can go out together after school to get ppl's bday presents.
We got all the most ridiculous things anyone can think of.

Those were the days when we have fun in doing everything together.
The results didn't matter. What mattered was the fact that we did things together.

Well, I really prefer to use　仲間　rather than 友達　but they pretty much mean the same---> friends. But 仲間 is more informal. More like pals. yup.


Yesterday was hilarious. LOL. karaoke at DAM?? with everything in japanese?
I wonder how many people can survive inside. hahaha. we did!


Thurday was another fabulous day. Learnt tons about photo-taking. haha. and well, I looked horrible in most of the photos. ^^;;



I realized that I've wasted my holidays completely. LOL.


Anyway, it's all temporary lectures when we come back nxt mon. SIGHHHHHH.

It was havoc in the toilet. LOL.

(It was super warm that day and i didn't request for a change of uniform. Accompanied Pei Rong to buy notes and we bought PE shorts.)


Oh yes, suddenly, i got the urge to say that I'm very glad Pei Rong's doing fine in my school.
In fact, she seems really chirpy and cheery. ^^
Maybe it's cos NH ppl still stick tgt even when we have our own good friends in sch.
and Pei Rong won't feel too lost or anything.

oh! Pei Rong is in the same class as Jun Liang! hahaha.
