Shisso~! [SPOILERS AHEAD]

It's dark... a really dark setting.
Imagine YOU were ME. This story is going to be about YOU.
You had a complete family consisting of a mother, a father, an older brother and you.
You were always outshone by you older brother. He was smart and intelligent.
You didn't mind at all. Because you were happy when your family was happy.
You lived in the countryside, with all sorts of strange people.
You liked a girl. And finally just when the 2 of you became friends, she was injured and had to be sent back to Tokyo.
One day, your brother was caught cheating in a test and suspended from school for a week.
Your brother lost his mind and started setting fire to houses. He was caught.
You were bullied very badly in school. Beaten up. Shouted at. Threatened to be killed because no good could come out of you if your brother set fire to places.
You were bullied by your very BEST FRIEND.
You were helpless and when you went back home, your mother was always crying and your father was GONE.
Your mother never acknowledged your existence anymore and just kept crying.
One day, she was gone too.
You're left ALONE, facing constant threats from villagers.
You looked for help from a priest, who brought you to Osaka.
There you met his brother, who was in prison for killing his entire family.
He told YOU: YOU ARE ME.
You met up with a prostitute whom you knew in the past. She was nice and friendly.
You asked for SEX.
The prostitute's boyfriend (head of a triad) found out and tortured you very badly.
You were beaten up, forced to drink a lot of alcohol and beaten up some more.
A girl who was also captured by him told YOU
Kill him. If you do, I'll help you...
You were driven to the point of hysteria.
DEPRESSION. LOST. HELPLESSNESS. HOPELESS. THERE WAS NOTHING MORE TO HOLD ON.
You took a towel and crawled over.
You strangled the guy but you failed to kill him.
The prostitute continued to strangle him for you and he finally died.
She then asked you and the girl (Miyuki) to escape.
She would take the blame.
The 2 of you escaped. Miyuki told you to wait for him at train station for 30min. If she doesn't turn up, then you leave first.
Miyuki was, unfortunately, captured and never turned up...
You wanted to go to TOKYO to find the girl.
That was your only hope.
You picked up a cell phone from the floor and called the girl.
The 2 of you met up.
She told you about how she was RAPED by her uncle.
You got angry.
When the uncle appeared, you stabbed him.
The 2 of you ran away.
For a few days, you truly felt happiness.
The girl couldn't run anymore, which was her favourite sport. You carried her on your back and ran, telling her:
See? You're running!
For the first time in your entire 15 years of life, after all the hell you went through, you smiled.
However,
one day, you were surrounded by the police.
You took the girl as hostage as police pointed guns at you.
You whispered to the girl:
Someday, you'll definitely run, we'll definitely meet and run together.
And you pushed her away, dashed towards the gun.
You were SHOT.
Years later, you didn't know this, but I'm telling you this.
The prostitute was released from prison and carried a little boy to the church to look for the priest.
Yes... that's YOUR child.
And the girl, you probably couldn't hear the faint footsteps, but she's walking again.
And you, are probably smiling somewhere, feeling happy, which you deserved.

This song always has strange powers over me.
Like suddenly I feel lonely/inspired/fortunate to be alive etc.
I realize every song has a strange effect on me.
Because whenever I listen to a song, the emotions I was having at that time when I was obsessed with the song will rush back to me. All the events which occurred at that time, the tears, the laughter, the people, everything.
The same thing goes to smell.

PRELIMS ARE OVER!!!!!!!!!!!! O-V-E-R!!!!!!!!!!!! OVER!!!!!!!
goodness. after 2 weeks of exams, it's finally over! :)
Two weeks of isolation in my room, studying like i've lost my mind, cut off completely from the world has disastrous effects on me.
1. I've lost track of nearly everything! current affairs, entertainment news etc etc.
Jess: eh. you know nagase tomoya and ayu got back together? and seem to be staying together as well?
Jas: *nearly choke on my good* WHAT?!?!
Jes: u're outdated! haha.
Jas: the last time I heard of her was when her eyes bled due to stress from work. no tomoya anywhere!!! it's just 2 weeks!!!
Jess: That's half a month, dude.
She's right! half a month! I've spent nearly half a month drowning in my books, studying till my brain nearly exploded!
2. I can't seem to type as fast as before. And it's all error-full.
3. I neglected many things around me ---> piano.
4. I finally had time to take a good look at myself in the mirror and I was like:
BLOODY SHIT! what happened?! I looked lifeless!
My eyes looked dead, my face seemed exceptionally pale
and I looked... I looked like... I looked like...
it's hard to explain, but u'll noe wat i mean when u go check out that Ju-on boy
And I must have lost quite a few kg.
You might think I would feel accomplished after studying for so long, but NO!
I screwed it up!
I don't even want to think let alone see my results.
Alright. Now for some exciting news, something everyone has been looking forward to.
SAW III GONNA BE OUT THIS HALLOWEEN!!!
Great! The storyline sounds great. Perhaps the sickest movie out of the 3.

Oh well, but at least it gives me something to look forward to. haha.
Ok. anyway yesterday Serene Yeeyan Joyce Angela and I went Jurong point for movie.
We watched 'John Tucker must die'.
LOL. it's those shows for teenagers, not those deep movies like Banquet.
It's good for a laugh or smthg. haha.
anyway, after that we walked around and ate at Billy Bombers again.
I had this super nice spaghetti, Serene and Yeeyan had fish and chips while Joyce had roasted chicken. Angela had water! and salad. hahaha.
We were laughing really hard all the time cos Angela kept making hilarious comments. LOL.
Finally we can take a break from all the stress we've had over the past few weeks.
=)
It's still pretty unbelievable and surreal... like a moment ago we were still worrying over studies and the next moment, we can play and relax. But of cos after these 3 days, we're gonna have to work extra hard for O's.
*groans*
Alright. Anyway, Angela and I made a promise we would visit third world countries when we grow up. We would be searching an organisation and join it.
=)
I've decided that I want to live more meaningfully in future. Rather than cooped up in my house, having my world reduced to my desk. Living a world of my own. Instead, I would rather hope to spend time in meaningful things.
Perhaps that has become my aim in future?
Does it mean after 16 months of living, I've found a meaning in living? An aim?
Who knows?
Exactly. Now we plan for the future, or when we feel like giving up many things we've been holding on for so long, we would never know what will happen in future. Perhaps we would really be able to accomplish and achieve what we've set out to do.
I know I've been repeating this for so bloody long but seriously, everyone is born with dreams. The ability to dream. So why waste it?
I know that if I do badly in O's (CHOY!!!!!) even after I've put in a lot of effort, I would still have to stand up after the fall and continue walking. I can't stay at the same spot forever, can I?
I know I would be feeling very depressed over prelims marks but I still have to get over it.
Life is all about standing up after a fall.
Once you decided that u simply refuse to stand up after the fall, u'll be staying in the same spot forever. And u'll be doomed to stay there.
It's easier said than done.
I wished I would have a little more courage to face failures.
I'm just a weak person, actually.
Yes. Invisible, that's me.
But nevertheless, don't deprive everyone of their right to dream.
The sun is rising. I must go soon. I can't stay in the same place forever.

Alright. This is probably my last entry before I start studying like a possessed person for 2 weeks. (groans)
I plan to relax a little today so that I can be totally ENERGISED for the battle!

I've been watching his shows for very long already and tell you what, I really really admire and respect him. He has brought across the message of conservation of nature to many people across the world. and THAT is very admirable, in my opinion. :)
It's really a loss to the world that we lost such a great nature conservationist.
May he rest in peace.

Well, I'm not sure why but I'm suddenly in a good mood. (laughs)
It's probably due to the very cooling weather! Yes, I love such cool weathers. :)
Last night I was constantly woken up by the lightning, thunder and moonlight.
And I'm suffering from INSOMNIA!!!
Goodness. I turned off the lights at 11.15pm and the next time I checked the clock, it was already 12 and I'm still wide awake. :(
I attempted to sleep but to no avail.
The third time I checked the clock, it was 1 plus already.
I guess I only fell asleep after that.
And I had a weird dream! It's really strange. (laughs) I shall write about it if I have the time.
Yesterday I had physics remedial.
We went through June Paper 2006.
Something disturbing happened. (laughs) Pei Rong and I just kept hearing cats' mewing.
It's weird cos only the 2 of us heard it.
And it turns out to be IVAN.

And there was a question on drawing the front wheel of a bicycle at the possible distance at the 16th second.
Nicholas had Pei Rong's paper so he drew the entire person out for her.
I had a bad feeling at that time already and guess what he drew?
He drew this dustbin riding a bicycle and labelled it 'Jasmine'.
LOL. It's probably something not worth mentioning but I want to record all trivial matters.
Anyway, after school Joyce Yeeyan Serene and I went JEC for lunch.
Serene wanted to make her ez-link card cos she lost it a few weeks ago.
And she spent a long time fixing her hair. (laughs) Well, serene, if your hair ever looks worse than my hair in my IC photo, you can go ahead and spend 3 days fixing it. (laughs)
Whenever I sit down in front of the computer and tries to type something about the four of us, my mind will go blank. There're TOOOOO many things to write that I'm unable to write.
Get it? (laughs)
Whatever it is, we laughed a lot yesterday. LOL.
Anyway, for another good thing,
I ate durians yesterday! :D
It's probably not a big deal for many people but hey, it has been ages since I last ate durians!
Oh ya, I realized these days I'm laughing a lot more than I did in the past, which is good. :)
But somehow something bad will happen when I laugh too hard.
An example:
I was listening to Mr Brown Show about buying birds and I was laughing non-stop.
I planned to wash my dishes but cos I was laughing too hard, I didn't know what I was doing and put the unwashed plates into the fridge.

And I was walking home yesterday and suddenly remembered something hilarious and laughed all of a sudden.
Everyone was staring at me and I just smiled at them. LOL.
It's embarrassing!
These things happen very frequently nowadays. They're good things actually, no? haha.
And I realized for me to study well, I have to maintain a good mood.
If I'm in a lousy mood, no matter how long I study, nothing goes in.
So everyone, we must always maintain a positive outlook about things. :)

KAT-TUN's 'Precious one' has been stuck like a lizard to my brain for many days already.
I listened to it for approximately 40 times and I'm NOT kidding.
Karen is addicted to it as well. (laughs)
I love the song so much! Probably cos for a weird reason, it reminds me of my class and graduation.
Although I failed to get any translation for the lyrics, but there're many English phrases in the song so you can roughly tell what it's about.
Pretty touching song.
Yeah. Graduation. In a blink of an eye, 4o8'06 have less than 2 months together.
(BLOODY HELL. I'm listening to 'Precious One' AGAIN!!!!!)
Although it was not totally enjoyable to be in 4o8'06, I'll still miss it when I leave eventually.
I'm really going to miss everyone. Every single person.
I promise to type a special entry to thank everyone in class after O's.
If I ever make a special video for my class, the background music's gonna be 'Precious One'.
That song makes me close to tears. Esp the ending.

I really get very sick when there's remedial in the afternoon.

Updates!!~*
Mood: exceptionally high.

Ohayo~!
I guess it's the song that's making me feel so happy all of a sudden.
haha.
(ok now the song changed to 'Precious One' by KAT-TUN)
1. My sister has a blog! But it's in Japanese so I don't understand a thing. Even the programme she uses is in japanese. o.O goodness gracious.
2. 'Precious One' is a really nice song, people. :)
3. I was surfing the net for updates on 'Fruits Basket'. And guess what?! Chapter 130 raw scans were already out! And it makes me feel sadder. I'm like still stuck at Book 20 when Book 22 scans are already out. :( sigh. Anyway, I got the biggest surprise in my life when I looked at the scans (though i dun understand a word).
SPOILERS WARNING!!!
The curse is already broken! And Kyou and Tohru kissed the second time!
Finally, we know how the curse is broken. 'When a person who's never loved is loved, the curse will be broken'. At the last part, Kyo tears away his beaded bracelet and everyone was freed from the curse!!!
4. We celebrated Yeeyan's birthday last tuesday in advance. We made this super hilarious video of us singing various songs. and of cos there was a small chocolate cake that we bought for her. haha. but the most important thing is the hamster than we bought for her. :D It's name is 'xXx' haha. ok anw, we surprised her when we suddenly showed up at her house.
Somehow, I still feel it's a really dangerous thing to give a hamster to yeeyan, considering the fact that she wants to train it to talk. o.o poor poor thing. haha. but i'm sure she'll take good care of it cos it's 'xXx'. haha. *winks*
5. We celebrated Teachers Day last thursday. We're supposed to walk around the school for ACES (sp?) Day.But cos it poured, we had to stay in class and do this project on planning for weird games. haha. Mrs Lim gave out our Progress Report and talked to us individually. Well, she told me not to burn midnight oil. I was like 'Dun worry, Mrs Lim, I sleep latest at 11.30 every night when i have school the nxt day.' hahahaha. yes i cant stay up late if i have school the nxt day. If it's weekend, I'll only sleep at 1 plus. haha.
6. Prelims is coming!!! shit. Just thinking about it makes me sick. You know, I won't mind if the exams last for a week. But it lasts for 2 weeks! At first when we start studying, we'll be full of energy. But as time goes by, we'll be totally drained of energy and the feeling is really horrid. Physically and mentally sick. We even dream of exams when we sleep. 24/7 studying. it's kinda horrible.
7. Ayu attended a press conference for her a'nation'06. She has a new style. Thank goodness it's no longer braids. She still looks not bad to me, other than her... dress.
8. I realize the little gestures we make deep from our heart to help others or just smile at neighbours mean a lot to others. :)
9. A few more weeks before the end of 4o8'06.
10. We played netball again last wed. My arms still hurt till now. haha. Nicholas, Yi Hang, Li Qian and Chee Wee joined in. It was really really fun! I love to sweep balls when they're about to cross the line. And guess what? Chee Wee is always there to catch it. haha. He's the opposing team!!! There are so many times that I accidentally pass the ball to Chee Wee. haha. And Yi Hang's power balls are impossible to catch. It just goes out of the line whenever he throws it. haha. And throughout the whole game, we're laughing at practically every second.
11. Nearly a month to O's. hmm...
12. Is it worth studying so hard and neglecting the things and people around you? Imagine after the exams, you realize you've lost much more then you have gained (good grades)
13. Piano later! Guess what, I'm taking exams nxt year Feb. *groans* And there'll be another performance in Dec. This time it's gonna be really grand. Since it's going to be in a showroom and anyone can come in and listen. *grrrroans* I'll be performing 2 pieces. there's practically no time to practise. oh no.
14. My sister is already planning for christmas. haha.
This time round, no chim stuff. Just updates on my daily life. I realize I should alternate between my thoughts and daily stuff. haha. So as to not bore anyone. :)
