They have the ability to dig out my memories and cause such an excruciating pain somewhere really deep in my heart.

I associate memories, people with music and songs.

So somehow, I went for a journey back to the past.

The past is really dazzling.
As compared to the present, things couldn't have been more perfect.


We always want to return to the past, when everything seemed strangely perfect.

Maybe yes, maybe no.


But then again, we have to face reality.


What's buried deep in our hearts will remain there forever.


We can never go back ever again.

Occasionally it'll hurt.
Occasionally we'll find ourselves clasping our hands tightly together to wish to return to the past.

TRACK AND FIELD (FIELD EVENTS TRAINING)

Just writing those words are enough to make my blood boil.

A nice group photo before our mood turned really bad.

(fyi, I was sitting right at the top next to Wenshi and I was already freaking out a little (my mild acrophobia, rmb?) I really had no idea how I managed to put a 'PEACE' sign then. ^^;; and I had no idea WHY I climbed up there in the first place.

Oh and in case you were still wondering, it ended at 9plus PM. ^^;;

3. Dr William Tan

He visited our school last Wednesday.

Needless to say, Wenshi, Joyce and I were going 'O.O!!!!'
and then all the PW memories flooded us.

And well, I remember smthg he said that hit a chord in me.

'Just the 2 drops of Polio vaccine... 2 drops of Polio vaccine!'


We could've used that quote for our OP ending.
(ahhh... too bad Eugene wasn't there to listen to him.)




4. SCHOOL

It has pretty much been the same anyway.

Sometimes, it seems to me we are living the same day over and over again.


Endless tests... work... stress...

sigh.


If there weren't people around who brighten up our lives, I guess I would be as alive as a zombie.




5. Field events (training workshop for student population)

We were supposed to brief the participants on the rules and regulations and...

Well, all you need to know is that Wenshi, Joyce and I were VERY NEARLY killed by Kakei and Cheng Cheng.

I'm such a water-tap, I guess. haha.


And this time round,

it's the music.


It's the very first song in my playlist.
The song that was playing when 美嘉　（MIKA) was sitting behind ヒロ (HIRO) on the bicycle, laughing and shouting for HIRO to slow down. (in Koizora)


I started to feel this heart-wrenching feeling.
It's a mixture of happiness, sadness, helplessness, gratefulness...


Then suddenly, the tears just couldn't stop.


How can a music that is only 4.05mins long have such an impact on me?


Is it the movie, Koizora?

Is it how I feel for Mika?

Is it how I feel about myself?

Or is it just a sudden urge to cry?



These days have been crazy.

I was on the verge of breaking down on Tuesday.


But I guess things did become a little better after that.



Maybe, it's just that I've been hiding all my emotions,
and just like a crack in a dam, the song really hit me somewhere in my heart, really hard.
And the water/emotions overflowed.



Maybe it's a mixture of all the factors.


In fact, sometimes I'm surprised by how much I feel for Mika.


Maybe, it's because Hiro reminded me of a certain someone... a certain someone who meant a lot to me.



He's like a river.

And he left me behind.

But still, I do feel happy from time to time.

1.Growing up

When I was a little girl, things were very simple.
My expressions were the true reflections of my emotions.


But after I grew up, things became more complicated.
Sometimes, my expressions are no longer the reflections of my emotions.

When I'm sad, I smile.


It's not supposed to be that way.
But who am I say to say what's right or wrong?


Perhaps, we just don't want to invite any sympathetic gazes.
Or, we just don't want to appear weak in front of others.

We are all FIGHTERS.
We don't want to give up so easily, do we?


Even if it's just a few tears, we would never want to show them in front of others.


But, why put up a strong front?


I can never answer that question.



2.CHANGES.

How come a person can change so much?


Our eyes met.
And your eyes are longer the ones I thought I knew so well.

We brushed past each other.
And neither of us looked back.

As if nothing has changed.

1. NYAA-ODAC CAMP!

I, being super lazy, have decided to skip the details. ;)


Day 1:
Heading to AJ with Huili, Cindy, Ruzi and Wenshi



Rock climbing and high elements.

Just look at this. How many people will actually have the courage to go up there?!

Well, those are my no.1 and no. 2 most disliked things in the camp. lol.
BUT, I still managed to conquer both (I forgot how I managed to do it).

A2 was really really encouraging, shouting 'GO JASMINE!' everytime I got stuck at the rock wall. :D I guess that was what kept me going. :)

Yurong: SO WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO NOW?!?!?! (cos everyone must do smth at the top of the wall before being let down)

LOL.


Then there was the 'tuna' game, which involved everyone rolling over everyone else.
HAHAHA. It was seriously very fun and I was laughing throughout the entire game.
Oh, and not to forget that we were screaming every time someone rolled over us.
(can you imagine what happens when 50 plus kg guys were on top of you? (PLEASE DO NOT THINK ANYTHING R21))


Oh, and outdoor cooking.

I was in the 'cooking team'. It was really really fun too. :D
Sheng Mao and I were frying the chicken (which, imo, was really delicious. ^_^;;)


Day 2:
CYCLING AT PULAU UBIN!!!

Taking a boat to Ubin!

Ok. I'll skip all the details.
Overall, it was REALLY TIRING but enjoyable at the same time. :)
My BUTT must've flattened by 784652 inches.

Anyway, I must say that it's A2's encouragement that kept me going again. :)

Often, while you face some problems with your bike or feeling really tired, you'll always hear this

"Careful!"
"Be careful, be careful!"
"小心!"
"Are you alright?"
"Are you ok?"
"JIAYOU!!!!!"

from both the guys and girls. :)

Sahil was really really nice when he helped with my bike's chains and even offered me his bike while he would ride mine. T_T I'm really touched.

And Sheng Mao also helped me with the seat! :)

Not to mention all the girls who cheered A2 on and Weijie and Yu Rong for their encouragement. :D


Ohoh, and MASS GAMES was awesome!


AND WE WON! :D


Day 3:
Was awoken by the GIs at 2.45AM to trek. =___=

Well, the highlight of the trek was probably the solo nightwalk, where we had to walk into this really dark and creepy park one by one to reach the other end.

Even I, who love all those horror films and am ever so calm about supernatural things, was a little freaked out.

BUT, we all survived through it! :)


And we played many many bonding games together.


and I know you're dying to see this picture.

CINDY and I ARE NOT LES OK. hahaha.

Oh, and Kakei (ABCDE student instructor camp) was with our group for some time and he was asking if I was having fun.

Then lastly, we had a debrief, which was really special.
We were asked to pass around a paper each. We had to write down comments about the person and pass to the next person.


I think the slip of paper is one that I would cherish forever. :)

Then ODAC showed us a video and there were COUNTLESS unglam pics of A2.
HAHAHAHA.

And of course, prize presentation!

A2 won the 'Most Enthusiastic Group' award. :D

and we did a 'xi de guo dong' cheer and it was AWESOME! :D:D:D


Overall, I think the camp was awesome. :)

2. RUZI'S BIRTHDAY!!!

After the camp, Ruzi, Wenshi and I decided to dine at Pizza Hut (although we were SUPPOSED to be home, sleeping) and had a heart-to-heart. :)


That was when I learnt a lot about this certain person who has been a really shithead.

and who liked to use WORDS as a weapon to destroy other people.


And what was even scarier was the fact that you tried to be close to me.

I seriously don't know whether to trust you or not anymore.


ANYWAY, yesterday after field events training, we met up with mutual friend, KL-san, and went to celebrate Ruzi's belated birthday. :)

We went to Clarke Quay's TCC.
The place is absolutely beautiful.
Not to mention the drinks and dessert there! :D

We were going 'AHHH~~~~ NICE!!!' every time we try one of the drinks/desserts.

Glorious food. :D (and that's Ruzi's finger again, btw)
